The foundation or base slab must be clean, level, and free of dust or debris. Leveling mortar should be applied to fix any uneven areas and prevent block misalignment. Any unevenness should be corrected with leveling mortar to avoid misalignment of the AAC blocks.
Apply a thin layer of AAC-approved adhesive mortar using a notched trowel. Unlike traditional cement mortar, AAC adhesive requires only a 2–3 mm bed, improving accuracy and minimizing material use.
Begin laying the blocks in a running bond pattern. Stagger vertical joints to improve structural interlock and load distribution. This enhances the structural interlock and load distribution of the wall system.
As each block is placed, gently tap it into position using a rubber mallet. Use a spirit level to maintain accurate alignment both horizontally and vertically across each course.
Curing requirements are minimal compared to traditional blockwork. Light misting may be applied depending on ambient temperature and humidity, but excessive water should be avoided to preserve adhesive bond strength.

Internal Walls

Ideal for non-load-bearing partitions or structural separations. AAC blocks offer sound insulation and thermal comfort, making them well-suited for residential interiors and commercial interiors alike.

External Walls

Strong enough to bear load in low- to mid-rise buildings, these blocks also provide excellent insulation against heat, cold, and noise, supporting energy efficiency.

Fire-Rated Enclosures

Because of their inherent fire resistance, AAC blocks are often used in stairwells, elevator shafts, and corridors where fire-rated walls are needed.

Basement or Utility Walls

AAC’s resistance to pests and moisture makes it a reliable choice for service areas and lower-grade walling systems.
